For our Loads and Controls Tool Automation team, we are looking for a Software Developer. As a Software Developer you would maintain our software tool chain supporting our offshore New Product Development load calculation process, bug fixing, continuous enhancements, and further functionality development according to business requirements.

About The Role

More specifically you will have the responsibility to:

• Convert product requirements based on the architecture and design.
• Support adaption of new solutions.
• Engage in continuous learning and adoption of new technologies and functionality.
• Develop efficient software applications based on requirements.
• Act as a team member within an agile team working toward the common team goals.
• Establish robust test and continuous integration processes.
• Cooperate with the team lead in the specification and development of new technical procedures, methodologies and tools needed to improve the team performance and knowledge.
• Share your expertise as a software developer to design and develop modular and scalable software applications.
  

About you: You have

• An Engineering Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control systems or Computer Science.
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience in software development using any of the programming languages: C++, C#, Python or Matlab.
• Domain experience in any of the industries: Renewables, Oil and Gas, Automobile or Aviation.
• Thorough grasp and intuitive understanding of object-oriented design patterns and UML analysis.
• An outstanding aptitude for algorithms, architecture, and writing clean, efficient code.
• Inclination and talent for bringing order (a coherent and well-architected design) from chaos (product feature ideas and requests).
• Experience working in a Scrum environment (using Jira or equivalent) and working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with version-control system using Git/GitLab or equivalent.
• You have experience and knowledge in software management (documentation, unit and integration testing, continuous integration, release management),and software life cycle management.
  

Nice to have

• Experience in web services (REST, SOAP etc.) and relational and non-relational databases.
• A clear understanding of cloud services, container and other deployment models, in particularly in Microsoft Azure.
