Job Description:  M365 Security Engineer

Location: Noida, India (Work from Office)

Working Hours: 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM PST

Employment Type: Full time

Salary: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:

·         Produce enterprise-level designs for M365 Security Stack to cover Users, Devices/Endpoint, Applications & Network security landscape for global initiatives following those through to implementation via collaboration with project and support teams.

·         Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible.

·         Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for corporate Identity Management environment.

·         Serves as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application, or system problems.

·         Lead and participate in ongoing Office 365 security and strategy discussions.

·         Stay current on all things Office 365, including changes & updates, roadmap & releases, and third-party solutions.

·         Good understanding of the available Microsoft 365 cybersecurity products and services such as Microsoft Purview, M365 Defender, Data Loss Prevention, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Conditional access

·         Create and maintain system documentation for M365 Security products/platform, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.

·         Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.

·         Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation

·         Provide training as required

·         Manage customer satisfaction through effectively communicating and managing customer expectations

Technical Skills:

·         Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and identity management concepts [Mandatory]

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and services with a focus on core solutions such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams [Mandatory]

·         Experience with endpoint management concepts such as configuration management, application deployment, update management, operating system deployment, and mobile device management. [Optional]

·         Knowledge and expertise in Azure AD P1 and P2 features (Conditional Access Policies, MFA, PIM, PAM, Access Reviews, Identity Protection, SSPR, SSO) [Mandatory]

·         Knowledge and expertise in any three of the following Microsoft 365 security features, including implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance [Mandatory]

o   Defender Suite

§  Defender for Identity

§  Defender for O365

§  Defender for Endpoint

§  Defender for Cloud Apps

o   E5 Compliance

§  Information Protection and Governance (AIP, DLP, Retention policies etc.)

§  Insider Risk Management

§  E-Discovery and Audit

·         Experience in creating PowerShell scripts for automation [Optional]

·         ITIL v3/v4 Certification [Optional]

Process Skills:

·         Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, Root Cause Analysis, Change
Management as per ITIL process.
