Your Role and Responsibilities
As Mainframe Security Administrator, you are responsible for implementation and maintenance security on mainframe, following and implementation of security standards and daily support

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and Implement Software/Application Security.
• Assist application support teams with determining the security requirements for their applications, then testing and implementing these changes/recommendations once they are agreed upon.
• Interface with Account management team (PE & DPE,) Project Managers and customers on a regular basis. This requires us to communicate technical and security concepts clearly
• Team with customer application support groups to decide on the best methods to enhance their applications while providing optimal security compliance
• Extensive knowledge/experience in security situation (ie... Unix security, Database merges, Mainframe firewalls, SSL and Digital Certificate, Secure FTP, problem determination, etc...)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Mainframe security
• Knowledge of Security standards and mainframe security and processes that allows us to mitigate audit concerns for all support groups and distribute audit request to the correct support groups additionally the above mentioned report writing skills are required to respond to auditor requests
• Knowledge of System support products (IMS, DB2, OMEGAMON,CICS, MQSeries,...),that allows us to best secure these products
• Ability to convert ACF2 security commands, as described in each of the software configuration manuals, to other security products (RACF)
• Extensive knowledge/experience in security situation (ie... Unix security, Database merges, Mainframe firewalls, SSL and Digital Certificate, Secure FTP, problem determination, etc...)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proven process driven management of technical operations and support
• Deep knowledge of multiple security products (ie: RACF)
• Ability to create change requests, resolve service requests, and provide 24x7 On call support
• You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
