4. Mode of Selection: Appointment shall be made by Selection or on Deputation from Railway /Metro Railway, from amongst the candidate who possess the following: -

5. Educational Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from a government recognized University / Institute.

6. Minimum Experience: 7 Years for Degree and 10 Years for Diploma in Railway/ Metro Rail Track in supervisory category. The experience of working for/ with Major Companies undertaking Maintenance of Track in Railway/ Metro Rail will also be considered. The certificate of working for/ with Major companies should clearly indicate the nature of experience in working for Track Maintenance. The experience of working on executive post may be preferred.

4. Mode of Selection: Appointment shall be made by Selection or on Deputation from Railway /Metro Railway, from amongst the candidate who possess the following: -

5. Educational Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from a government recognized University / Institute.

6. Minimum Experience: 5 Years for Degree and 7 Years for Diploma in Railway / Metro Rail Track, Bridges, Viaduct, Buildings in supervisory category. The experience of working for/ with Major Companies undertaking Construction / Maintenance of Track / Bridges / Viaducts / Buildings / Structures in Railway / Metro Rail will also be considered. The certificate of working for Major companies should clearly indicate the nature of experience covering Construction / Maintenance of Track / Bridges / Viaducts / Buildings / Structures. The experience of working in Track will be preferred. The deserving candidates having minimum experience of two (2) years as Manager or Assistant Manager or equivalent position in Railways / Metro Railways in maintenance of Permanent Way (Track) can also be considered irrespective of their total experience.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) spread over 4,355 sq. km. consists of 8 Municipal Corporations viz. Greater Mumbai, Thane, Kalyan-Dombivali, Navi Mumbai, Ulhasnagar, Bhiwandi- Nizamapur, Vasai-Virar and Mira-Bhayandar; and 9 Municipal Councils viz. Ambarnath, Kulgaon-Badalapur, Matheran, Karjat, Panvel, Khopoli, Pen, Uran, and Alibaug, along with more than 1,000 villages in Thane and Raigad Districts.
