Job Description

• The Category manager's role is to bring in the relevant assortment, design targeted promotions, and manage partners including sellers and brands
• Developing strategies for the portal for each sub-category basis consumer understanding and brand supplies
• Understanding the consumer, mining insights from data and translating them into lucrative business opportunities
• Work closely with on-site merchandisers to conceptualize and roll out category building initiatives
• Providing strategic guidance to key account managers to develop brand plans and oversee their execution
• Actively work with the Marketing team to track and ensure the effectiveness of campaigns/properties
• Responsible for meeting that the top-line & bottom-line objectives of the category
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities
• Strong numerical and analytical aptitude
