Job Description

Manager (Fire) Job Opportunity In Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited On Contract

Qualification: B. E (Fire) or B.Sc (Fire) from recognized University with Sub Officer Course, preferably from National Fire Academy- Nagpur.

Experience: The applicant should have minimum 10 years of fire fighting experience in similar industry or petrochemical plant. He shall be responsible to the management for efficient working of all fire prevention, first aid, fire fighting and major fire fighting arrangements. The candidate should have good physique and thorough knowledge for operating fire tender and security function, fire equipment maintenance, statutory requirements of Fire Procedure, ability to impart training to the employees. He shall be responsible to examine each group/section of the plant and lay down the general and any specific fire prevention measures to cover the various risks in consultation with the operation staff where necessary and liaise with neighboring fire brigades and other civil authorities to ensure that proper assistance is made viable as and when required. A person / officer served in CISF (Fire) department can also be considered. The age limit of CISF candidate should be below 45 years. Exposure in computerized working environment (preferably SAP) and knowledge of Gujarati language will be preferred.
