Role : Design Manager

Location: Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities

Mentor and lead a team of product and visual designers.
Help establish the interaction design language and UI guidelines for OLX.
Craft and lead scenarios, flows, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, UI pattern libraries, interaction guidelines, and other artifacts
Empower rapid prototyping with appropriate level of detail: translating abstract ideas to visual assets that allow the product team to rapidly converge
Understand the marketing/business problems presented to you, and find creative and effective ways of resolving them.
Liaison directly with the product, technology and business teams to find innovative and effective ways of growing the user base.
Spot opportunities to create love for our features, without waiting for a business brief.

Skills & Qualities

Deep knowledge of UX (mobile and web) design.
Ability to quickly produce elegant and easily understood artifacts, both personally and via the design team
Cross-team and cross-discipline communication skills and understanding of related business and technology processes
Confident presentation skills to all levels of an organization
Innate curiosity for UX and UI
Inclusive design experience
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in product design, HCI, interaction design, industrial design, communication design, architecture, or equivalent experience
8+ years in Product Design
2+ years experience in people management.
