Manager – QA Testing recruitment in Jaipur - metlife global operations support center pvt ltd

Essential Functions

• Knowledge about Securities, Derivatives and Investment Accounting
• Knowledge of “Portfolio Asset Management” system(PAM),Murex
• Knowledge of Ledger Implementation using PeopleSoft.
• Knowledge of People Soft, Query building
• Experience in accounting and knowledge of GL/Trade Entry or other similar systems
• Should have experience in writing Business scenarios for accounting application.
• Should have excellent Testing Acumen - Test Scenario creation, Test Data preparation, and Test Execution
• Perform and support User Acceptance Testing(UAT)
• Defect Management (using Quality Center or any other Defect Management tool)
• Great analytical skills – must be able to visualize, articulate, conceptualize complex accounting systems and apply knowledge to resolve issues
• Knowledge of Software Testing concepts
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Macros, VLOOKUP, Pivots etc.)
• Should have experience of writing Macros using VB script
• Ability to work with Excel and Access to work with large data sets, predominantly to prepare test data and validate test data.
• Ability to gather, manipulate and analyze information using large text and Excel files
• Should have good command on SQL queries and MS Access
• Good communication skills, experienced in client interactions
• Ability to prepare and/or update training materials
• Ability to prepare meeting minutes
• Should have knowledge of SDLC and STLC

·        Test Design Techniques

• Should have knowledge of Bug Reporting and Bug Lifecycle
• Should have experience with working in Agile methodology

Good to have:

• Any certification in Accounting/Finance
• Experience in Reconciliations
• Ability to create Data Flow Diagrams using Visio
• Ability to update project plans using Microsoft Project

Responsibilities:

• Accounting Analysis
• Ability to gather, manipulate and analyze information using large text and Excel files
• Must be agile to learn new systems quickly and retain knowledge
• Identify/Create test data
• Creating test scenarios that map to Good Data, Bad Data and No Data points
• Collation of test results and prepare sign off related documentation
