Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting defect triage meetings providing details about the defects to the team;
  • Writing test cases, executing tests, and recording the results;
  • Responsible for all aspects of quality assurance manual testing;
  • Monitoring and debugging issues in both staging and production environments;
  • Manual testing of front-end, API, and back-end layers;
  • Building and executing detailed test plans from functional requirements;
  • Accurate and concise bug reports.
Requirements:
  • An ability to work independently across multiple projects, and to meet deadlines;
  • Experience within the IT & Software industry is beneficial, 
  • An ability to rapidly grasp and apply complex business and technical concepts;
  • Entrepreneurial in your approach and able to work with minimal supervision;
  • 6 months- 1 year of quality testing experience required;
  • Ability to communicate easily with a diverse group of people;
  • Must have a sound understanding of the software development lifecycle;
  • Detail and project-oriented with a focus on quality and passion in the work at hand;
  • Postgres/MySQL db testing experience;
  • CSS, HTML, JavaScript front-end testing experience;
  • 1 year manual testing large-scale web applications;
  • Expert with JIRA or similar bug tracking tool;
  • Experience testing REST APIs;
  • Unix shell basics;
  • Some programming knowledge; especially Java or Angular.
