The Manufacturing Operator/Trainee will be responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. He will also be responsible for inspecting parts to specifications and making adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications.
The role provides lot of learning & development opportunities in a culture of innovation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment start-up & operation.
· Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment according to instructions to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
· Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance and fix issues that might occur during the shift.
· Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor.
· Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
· Maintain a clean work area through good housekeeping practices & comply with all safety and health regulations
· Perform all documentation work related to shift production & maintain activity logs.
· Perform other duties as assigned whenever required.
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Diploma/ITI with 0-3 years of experience or proven experience as a machine operator.
· Technical degree & experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work & adhere to safe work practices.
· Understanding of production procedures, working knowledge of measurement tools.
· Analytical, teamwork and communication skills.
· Attention to detail & able to work Independently.
