Market Analyst/ Specialist/Procurement Expert recruitment in Maharashtra Village Social Transformation Foundation

1. Market Analyst/
01Post

Essential A) Educational Qualification : Market Analyst must possess a Post-Graduate degree in Economics/Marketing/PGP in Agri Business Management/PGD in Marketing or Agri-Business Management/ related field from any recognized university/ approved/recognized Institutions.

B) Working Experience : Minimum experience of 07 years of professional experience in the areas of Market research/planning, Agribusiness and Value Chain development with focus on market access, market surveys involving agricultural markets/products for developing commodity profile reports, study and analysis of market trends, development and implementation of market access plans for corporate/SME/FPO. Good understanding of the World Bank’s operational policies, processes and procedures. Ability to think strategically and engage with diverse set of stakeholders. Ability to develop multi-sectoral management information system for projects - Demonstrated capacity to undertake operational and analytical tasks, work in teams, coach junior staff, and share knowledge. Track record of dealing effectively with external and internal clients.  Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision on a wide range of social development activities, and achieving results with agreed upon objectives and deadlines.

C) Computer Skills - Must have experience of using Internet based applications, using and working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint and other related applications.

D) Language - Fluency in spoken and written English language is essential. Knowledge of Marathi language is highly desirable.

Desirable: Experience of working in project(s) assisted by any international/national organization and/or any international/national NGO institution and/or experience in working in private sector agribusiness and rural transformation organisations; World Bank assisted projects etc. Experience of providing technical support to and capacity building of organizations with strong analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize complex concepts and to communicate them effectively;  Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently;  Good communication and social skills; the candidate must show initiative, synthesis, organization and personal dynamism and self-motivated, as well as capacity to work with teams and prepare adequate planning and activity reports.  Field experience is highly desirable.

2. Entrepreneurship Development and Resource Generation Specialist /01 Post

Educational Qualification - Master’s degree/ Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two years duration) in Agribusiness/ Agribusiness Management/ Agricultural Economics/ Agricultural Extension/ Agribusiness Economics/ Rural Management/ Rural Development/ Development Studies/ Development Economics/ Business Entrepreneurship/ Entrepreneurship Management/ Food Processing/ Food Science & Technology/ Post Harvest Management/ Post Harvest Technology or a closely related field from any Govt. recognized University/Institutions.

Working Experience - Minimum 08 years of work experience related to enterprise development or cluster-based interventions. EDRGS should also have experience in public / private sector interfaces especially on firm level interventions (G2B) and on cluster based policy advocacy.

Computer Skills - Must have experience of using Internet based applications, using and working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint and other related applications..

Language - Fluency in spoken and written English language is essential. Knowledge of Marathi language is highly desirable. Desirable - Experience of working in complex, multi stakeholder, fast moving environment and ability to work under pressure, respecting strict deadlines and multi-tasking - Experience in promoting agri based enterprise clusters - An understanding and experience in the use of innovative technologies in promoting enterprise clusters - Good social, analytical, interpersonal and planning skills - Self-motivated and possessing ability to work independently as well as in teams.

3. Procurement Expert /01 Post

Essential A) Educational Qualification: A Master’s degree in Engineering, Law, Finance, Business Management, Commerce, Agriculture. A certificate in procurement procedure, issued by any reputed national / international agency

Working Experience: Should have minimum experience of 08 years Procurement related work in Cooperative Sector / Government / Private sector / NGOs of which minimum 5 years should be working on a World Bank / other International development agency funded project.

Computer Skills: The Procurement Expert must have experience of using Internet based applications, using and working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint and other related applications.

Language : Fluency in spoken and written English languages is essential. Knowledge of Marathi language is highly desirable.

Desirable : Experience of working in project(s) assisted by any international/national organization and/or any international/national NGO institution and/or experience in working in private sector agribusiness and rural transformation organisations; World Bank assisted projects etc.  Experience of providing technical support to and capacity building of organizations with strong analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize complex concepts and to communicate them effectively; Field experience is highly desirable. c. 4. Social Development Specialist /
01 Post

Essential A) Educational Qualification : Master’s Degree in forestry, agronomy, social sciences, or environmental economics.

Working Experience : A minimum of 8 years’ relevant operational experience and proven track record in working on projects covering a broad range of social development issues and inclusive development.  Good understanding of the World Bank’s operational policies, processes and procedures including its safeguard policies.  Ability to think strategically and conduct dialogue on social development policies and priorities, while maintaining a strong sense of realism with regard to in-country conditions and competing demands for resources.  Demonstrated capacity to undertake operational and analytical tasks, work in teams, coach junior staff, and share knowledge. Track record of dealing effectively with external and internal clients. Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision on a wide range of social development activities, and achieving results with agreed upon objectives and deadlines.

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree from a recognized University or an equivalent reputed institution in environmental management, biological sciences, forestry and/or agronomy,

Working Experience : Minimum of 8 years’ relevant operational experience and proven track record working on projects covering a broad range of environmental management issues under various sub-sectors within agriculture, such as, livestock, fisheries, agriculture waste management, post-harvest processing, Integrated Pest Management etc.  Good understanding of the World Bank’s Safeguard Policies and other operational policies, processes and procedures. Ability to think strategically and conduct dialogue on environmental management, policies and priorities, while maintaining a strong sense of realism with regard to incountry conditions and competing demands for resources.  Demonstrated capacity to undertake operational and analytical tasks, work in teams, coach junior staff, and share knowledge.  Track record of dealing effectively with external and internal clients.  Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision on a wide range of project related environmental issues and achieving results with agreed upon objectives and deadlines.

Computer Skills: Environment Safeguard Specialist must have experience of using Internet based applications, using and working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint and other related applications.

6. Management Information Specialist (MIS) /01Post

Educational Qualification :A Master’s degree in Agriculture related Disciplines or in Economics, Statistics.

Working Experience:Minimum experience of 08 years, in Cooperative Sector / Government / Bank, of which minimum 5 years should be working on a World Bank / other International development / Donor funded project involving project monitoring and evaluation. - Good understanding of the World Bank’s operational policies, processes and procedures including its monitoring and evaluation policies.  Ability to think strategically and conduct dialogue on developing multi-sectoral management information system for comprehensive projects - Demonstrated capacity to undertake operational and analytical tasks, work in teams, coach junior staff, and share knowledge.  Track record of dealing effectively with external and internal clients. Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision on a wide range of social development activities, and achieving results with agreed upon objectives and deadlines.

Computer Skills: Must have experience of using Internet based applications, using and working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint and other related applications. - Big data analysis using the latest data mining and visualization techniques

7. Information Technology Manager/1Post

Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree or one year Post Graduate Diploma in GIS / Geo-informatics and / or Remote Sensing

Working Experience : Minimum 8 years’ GIS/RS related experience after completion of one year post graduate Diploma in GIS or Minimum 5 years’ GIS/RS related experience after completion of Post Graduate Degree in GIS and or Remote Sensing and with minimum 3 years of experience in relevant project activities

Computer Skills: The IT/GIS Expert must have experience of using Internet based applications, using and working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint and other related applications. Expertise in Mapping tools such as Google Maps, ArcGIS, QGIS, Geoserver etc.

Desirable - Experience of working in project(s) assisted by any international/national organization and/or any international/national NGO institution and/or experience in working in private sector agribusiness and rural transformation organisations; World Bank assisted projects etc. Experience of providing technical support to and capacity building of organizations with strong analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize complex concepts and to communicate them effectively; Field experience is highly desirable.  Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently;  Good communication and social skills; the candidate must show initiative, , synthesis, organization and personal dynamism and self-motivated, as well as capacity to work with teams and prepare adequate planning and activity reports.

8. Agribusiness and Value Chain expert/
01Post

Educational Qualification: The Associates should possess least a Graduate (minimum three years duration) degree in any field from recognized University/institution.

Working Experience: The Associates must have at least three years’ experience in office management /documentation /report writing /drafting presentations /secretarial work in any public or private sector organization.

Computer Skills: Must be excellent in using computer applications, with advanced knowledge of Office Management, proficiency in MS Office Applications (like Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.).

Desirable: 2-3 years work experience in similar sector/industry.  Self-motivated person with ability to plan the work & execute to achieve results as required. Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently. - Excellent communication and social skills and the ability to grasp clear instructions from the team members; the candidate must show accurate and clear written skills for report presentation as well as capacity to prepare basic collation, planning and activity reports. Experience of administrative/Human resource/documentation/technical support to PCU. Good written and oral communication with command over English language; Knowledge of Marathi is will be an advantage and desirable, as earlier work experience in the state.

9. Livestock and Dairy Business Expert/ 01 Post

Educational Qualification: MSc Veterinary Science, Animal Breeding or equivalent degree. (post-graduate training in project management will be an added advantage)

Working Experience: Should have minimum experience of 8 years livestock and dairy development work in Cooperative Sector / Government / Private sector / NGOs of which minimum 5 years should be working on a World Bank / other International development agency funded project.

Computer Skills : The Livestock and Dairy Development Expert must have experience of using Internet based applications, using and working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point and other related applications.

Language : Fluency in both spoken and written English languages is essential. Knowledge of Marathi language is highly desirable.

Experience of working in project(s) assisted by any international/national organization and/or any international/national NGO institution and/or experience in working in private sector livestock and dairy development, agribusiness and rural transformation organisations; World Bank assisted projects etc. b. Working Experience: Agribusiness and Value Chain Expert must have at least 08 years of professional experience, with a minimum experience of 05 years in Agricultural Marketing, /Agribusiness, and/ Value Chain Development, specifically in the development of market linkages

Computer Skills : The Agribusiness and Value Chain Expert must have experience of using Internet based applications, using and working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point and other related applications.
