We are seeking a dedicated and insightful Market Research Analyst to join our Marketing Team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive FMCG market research, gathering valuable insights from target markets, and translating them into actionable recommendations for our category Team. Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping our marketing strategies and driving consumer-focused decision making.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct primary research surveys through on-ground efforts in primarily tier 2 markets to gain deep insights into the preferences and behaviors of the retailer target group.
· Serve as the primary liaison between the Category Team and research efforts, offering expertise and assistance in understanding consumer dynamics.
· Collect, organize, and synthesize data related to consumers, competitors, and the marketplace, transforming information into actionable insights and reports.
· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align research goals with overall business objectives and design surveys that reveal potential customers' preferences.
· Employ online market research tools to complement on-ground efforts, and systematically catalog research findings in databases.
· Conduct in-depth competitive analyses of various companies' market offerings, identifying trends, pricing strategies, business models, sales tactics, and operational approaches.
Requirements and Skills:
· A bachelor's degree in any field.
· Proven experience in Market Research Analysis, with a track record of delivering actionable insights.
· Exceptional ability to interpret and analyze large volumes of data while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex ideas and insights effectively.
· Proficiency in utilizing analytical tools and methodologies to extract valuable information from research data.
· Enthusiasm for fieldwork and a willingness to engage directly with target groups and retailers.
· Fluent in both Kannada and English, enabling seamless communication with stakeholders.
