Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Create a plan of action, set project goals, and manage to completion
2. Conduct detailed research of intended subject matter according to business needs
3. Formulate effective and efficient research processes
4. Identify market trends and patterns
5. Design surveys, questionnaires, polls, etc. specific to research requirements
6. Test research methodologies to confirm the intended purpose of evaluation
7. Perform fieldwork, interviews, experiments, concept tests, etc. to gather data
8. Utilize various professional sources to find and extract pertinent information
9. Perform evaluative analysis of selected resources and current market data
10. Organize and maintain research databases
11. Audit work and check data for errors and inconsistencies
12. Compile and organize findings in graphs, charts, mock-ups, and diagrams
13. Document, report, and present research findings to management and clients
