Contour is seeking a Marketing and SEO expert to fill the role as a Marketing Coordinator. The goals of a Marketing Coordinator is to increase SEO rankings on all search engines, grow Contour’s social media presence as well as develop content for blogs, press releases, and campaigns.

As a Marketing Coordinator you will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, press releases, blogging and keyword strategy to increase ranking on all major search networks as well as maximize ROI. You will work with partners as well as develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand on social media platforms.

Requirements

·         Ability to speak, read and write in English (Required)

·         Ability to write HTML title and meta tags

·         Skilled in revising website structure and off page optimization with link building

·         Knowledge of the latest search engine requirements

·         Understand technical limitations of the various search engines and communicate these with website developer to design your site

·         Develop content to include keywords and phrases in order to increase traffic to website

·         Understanding of website performance optimization and ability to communicate requirements to developers

·         Understanding all social media platforms

Responsibilities:

·         Optimizing landing pages for search engine optimization

·         Deep keyword analysis

·         Incorporate key words into both the human readable and the source code of the website.

·         Link building

·         Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities.

·         Audit sites on an on-going basis and pro-actively offer recommendations for improving performance

·         Writing effective SEO content for our blogs, websites, press release and social media accounts

·         Preparing detailed strategy reports

• Establish Contour as a nation-wide strategic IT solutions expert on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram by regularly (daily) posting relevant articles, using appropriate hashtags, leveraging partners content and promoting conversation with discussion questions
• Scheduling and posting daily content for all social media outlets (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
• Work closely with Marketing Director to draft and distribute marketing collateral, website materials, print and digital advertising, education whitepapers and social media graphics.
• Monitor analytics to assess performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and collaborate with Marketing Director to extrapolate insights and learnings.
• Working with the Marketing Director to develop a consistent and appealing aesthetic for our social media feeds
• Deliver monthly reports with statistics of social growth
• Contribute bi-weekly content for blog posts (content from partners, relevant articles to the industry, excitement and buzz around Contour’s features and offerings)
• Work with partners to collect collateral for blogging and social posts
• Experiment with new and creative methods to leverage social media activities

Qualifications:

·         Degree in Marking, Advertising, or related fields

·         Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

·         Minimum: 3+ years’ experience in SEO/Marketing

·         Expert knowledge with the SEO process

·         Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills

·         Active social media presence required.

·         Positive, advocacy-minded, and detail-oriented with an ability to juggle multiple pieces on different deadlines in a given day.
