The Position
The Marketing Specialist is at the backbone of Apptio’s marketing success. This role provides
support and tactical execution across a variety of marcom tools such as webinar platforms,
CRM tools, website Infrastructure, email tools, database lists, digital asset management, and
more. The role will handle repetitive tasks and unique projects delivery impeccable
execution and finding ways for improvement. You will be grow and learn a variety of
marketing technology and interface with people across the organization.
What We Want You To Do
- Be a center hub of marketing excellence by providing tactical support and execution across a variety of marketing tools, systems, and processes.
- Assist in the execution of marketing activities ranging from webinar setup, website publishing email tool configuration, updating customer databases, and management of content.
- Deliver tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Be available for ad-hoc requests and coordination.
- Follow direction for speedy execution while looking for ways to improve process and increase efficiency.
Basic Qualifications & Competencies
- 1-3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a corporate environment is preferred, with benefit from those in the B2B Software SaaS space.
- Some experience with a CRM, CMS, Marcom software (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce, Pardot, Acquia, Episerver, GoToWebinar, On24, Outeach, etc.)
- Proven ability to be exceptionally detail orientated.
- Working experience with common office software such as Excel, Smartsheet, Word, Powerpoint, etc.
- Comfortable with large repetition of rote tasks, but also excited to take on a variety of dynamic work.
- Not required, but beneficial is experience with PPM (Project Portfolio Management) tools such as Workfront/Wrike/Others or experience with Project Management tools like Jira, Trello, Asana
- Effective communicator with an urgency to proactively communicate prior to issues on quality or timeliness.
