Master Data Specialist - Materials

Location : Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Your background

A Bachelor degree in Engineering or related discipline.
More than five years of experience in the relevant field.
Profound knowledge and experience in SAP R/3 with focus on the following areas:
Material Master Management, multi-level bill of material, variant configuration, production planning, order handling, costing, change management, error handling, product data replication.
Excellent knowledge in and experience with 3D-engineering SW (ideally with Creo, AutoCAD, ProDesign).
Good knowledge of product lifecycle management tools (ideally with Windchill PLM).
ABB PG SAP application understanding (global and local SAP system setup).
Very good Business English skills including the terms and vocabulary of the respective tools.
General experience with industrial products and the configuration of the same, ideally with High Voltage Products such as Gas Insulated Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, operating mechanisms.
Strong personality and convincing skills when giving guidance or instructions to R&D regarding adherence to defined processes, or a certain product structure philosophy.
Beneficially, experience in SAP-ABAP programming and Sharepoint configuration.
