Job Description

  • Replaces electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
  • Installation and repair of a variety of electrical equipment, such as generators, transformers, ATS equipment,

    switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, disconnects, motors, heating units, conduit systems, variable frequency
    drives, UPS, MCC’s, Etc.

  • Working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.
  • Locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment.
  • Working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.
  • Use of a variety of electrician’s hand tools, and test & measurement instruments.
  • Perform maintenance and service as needed to support ongoing facility operations for the Facilities Department that are
