Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team and assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of materials and products within our warehouse or manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that materials are properly labeled, stored, and transported to their designated areas in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

 • Receive and process incoming materials and products, including verifying quantities and inspecting for damage or defects

 • Prepare and package materials for shipping or storage, including labeling and tagging • Load and unload trucks and other vehicles, using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks

 • Move materials and products to designated areas within the warehouse or manufacturing facility, using proper handling and storage techniques

• Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials and products

• Assist with the organization and cleaning of the warehouse or manufacturing facility

• Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment

 • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

 • Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse environment preferred

 • Knowledge of material handling and storage techniques

• Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks

 • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor in all interactions with colleagues and customers
