The Position: MEAN Stack Developer

MEAN Stack Developers at Sparklin take an active, hands-on role in leading the development on engagements as well as architecture and mentorship of junior developers, and working with multi-disciplinary teams to implement the product stories into technology frameworks. This important role requires broad knowledge and advanced skills in MEAN Stack Development. Understanding of available various client-side technologies is an added advantage.

The MEAN Stack Developer contributes deep thinking and process-oriented solutions to produce high-quality technology experiences and bring interesting stories and products to the market. Success in this role means delivering results through teamwork and a relentless focus on what’s best for the product, client, ecosystem and consumer. A successful MEAN Stack Developer will be solution-focused, detail-oriented, adaptive to change, and a proactive communicator.

• Collaborate closely with engagement leads, developers, design technologists, and engineers
• Work with the technology leads to ensure your development work exceeds client expectations
• Ensure the quality of detailed development code & docs throughout all phases of a project
• Work on a huge variety of projects across a rich spectrum of market sectors and geographies
• Contribute to the creation of development guidelines and other related docs
• Mentor junior developers
• Embrace challenges and inspire new ways of thinking

You Are

You bring to the organisation the following competencies:

• 2+ years of working experience of JavaScript and AngularJS, knowledge of Node.js and Express and solid Understanding of HTTP protocol and how server-side code is processed on the clientWorking knowledge of front end optimization and performance techniques
• Obsession with lean, clean and organized front-end code
• Cross-browser development and troubleshooting
• Experience building Responsive websites for web, tablet and mobile devices
• Able to handle multiple projects and competing deadlines
• Extraordinary attention to detail and a passion for quality balanced with speed and efficiency
• Experience working with remote teams surely helps
• A passion for creating products that resonate on an emotional level
• Wildly creative and obsessively meticulous
• A fearless and positive attitude
• Good understanding of overall web design including basic usability, accessibility, industry standards, architecture, and navigation
