Qualification : (a) Essential: SSLC with two years NCTVT certificate course (ITI) in the trade of Millwright mechanic/Machinist/Fitter with at least 60% marks Industrial
Training Institute.

Experience: (a) Essential: 2 years experience with One year National apprenticeship training certificate (NAC) or 3 years experience in a reputed research institute or in a medium scale industry doing high precision jobs, involving machine operations like, turning, milling, shaping, and grinding etc. on conventional machines. Conversant with interpretation of engineering drawings. OR

Experience:  (a) Essential: 2 years experience with One year National apprenticeship training certificate (NAC) or 3 years experience in a reputed research institute or in a medium scale industry carrying out assembly and integration of precision instruments. The candidate shall be well versed with fitting, grinding operations. Conversant with interpretation of engineering drawings.

(b) Desirable: Knowledge of Welding, maintenance of Instruments and Sheet metal work, Maintenance of mechanical equipments such as ultrasonic cleaners, baking chambers, chillers,dehumidifiers, AHUs, pumps etc. Conversant with engineering drawings. Operational knowledge of the drafting software “AutoCAD” is an advantage.

Qualification : Diploma in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication (3 year full time course) with at least 60% marks in the aggregate from a recognized Institution. 

Experience : (a) Essential : Minimum 5 years experience after diploma in Fabrication / Maintenance and service of Electronic devices. 

(b) Desirable: Expertise in handling Automated Control systems / Imaging devices, clean rooms and ESD protection.

Experience : Minimum five years of work experience in an Industry/Public Sector/Government Establishment/Scientific Laboratory/Institution, involving work in fabrication, handling/operating machines in a machine shop like lathes, Milling Machine, Surface grinding etc. 

Desirable : Knowledge of handling Scientific Instruments, Maintenance, and service of AC plants/equipment, lifts, clean rooms etc.

Scale of pay : VII CPC Pay Matrix Level-5 Pay Range Rs.29200-92300 (VI CPC PB-2, GP Rs. 2800) 

Age limit : 32 years
