About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on design and development of major system structural components like chassis, chassis peripherals, brakes, suspension
2. Develop 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings based on system-level specifications and requirements
3. Work on FEM analysis of structural components to iterate and improve design proposals
4. Prototype components with internal resources and external suppliers
5. Handle the creation of engineering documentation including DFMEA, DSS, DVP
6. Work on component and system-level testing as per DVP and validation plans
7. Provide support in assembly and testing of prototype vehicles

Other requirements

1. Students in the final year or fresh graduates with a B.E./B.Tech degree in mechanical or automotive engineering

2. High proficiency in 3D CAD software like Solidworks, CREO, NX is a must

3. Knowledge of FEA software packages like ANSYS, ABAQUS, or Hyperworks is a plus

4. Prior experience in student projects like Formula SAE, Baja SAE is a must

5. Working knowledge of electronics and experience with building hardware projects using Arduino, Raspberry Pi is a plus

6. High proficiency in system modeling using MATLAB/Simulink is a plus

7. Highly motivated and self-organized

8. Willingness to learn and take on multiple roles and responsibilities
