Primary Responsibilities

Support the review of mechanical requirements for design
Supports mechanical component assumption (MBOM) - Split into architecture and MBOM
Support mock up CAD design
Support a DPL ENG. risk management list with the input of the 3 mechanic
Support a DPL ENG. Product Dev. Plan document
Support product design that meets functional, quality and financial targets Split into detail architecture and data generation
Ensure correct 2D and 3D CAD data storage
Support CAE analysis on the product, Structural, Thermal, etc. and incorporate results into design.
3D models design - parts and assemblies (CAD Tool - CATIA V5)
2D drawings preparation (CAD Tool - CATIA V5)
Tolerance stack-up & GD&T
DFMEA
Customer and supplier communication

Competencies Required And Experience

Knowledge in Electronic products development
Knowledge in Plastic parts design, Die casting, and Decoration technologies
Computer literacy on CATIA V5.
Because Visteon operates internationally, very good English is important for the position
At least 5 years of experience in field of Mechanical engineering.
