Main Responsibilities and Duties:-

• Responsible for fitting of all piping and components.
• Accurately assemble all the fittings as per the layout drawing.
• Report to Site Engineer / Project Engineer on day to day activities.
• Escalate issues pertaining to fitting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Sites activities:
• Reading of layout drawing
• Layout routing as per the drawing
• Site positioning
• Fitting
• Setting pipeline fittings and other equipment fittings
• Takas, Grinding, Shaping of parts and components
• Straight-line checking, sprit level checking, right angle checking
• Straightening
• Handing over for welding after inspection
• Fixing
• Supporting pipelines and fixtures
• Fixing of bolts and nuts, tightness checking
• Providing support and facilitating for welding team
• Handle the customer and address the problems and maintenance activities

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Good practical skills.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• An understanding of technical manuals and engineering diagrams.
• Should have the ability to work quickly
• Must have the knowledge of health and safety issues.
• Must have formal qualification in relevant trade.
• Good Communication skills and be able to establish and maintain effective contact with staff and key partners, suppliers, contractors.
• Systematic approach to problem solving.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• To be able to work on own initiative.
