1. Identify press opportunities through evolving issues

3. Negotiate with media channels to close competitive deals
4. Ensure that key messages align with vital business strategies
5. Serve as the organization's media liaison and formal spokesperson
6. Facilitate press conferences and briefings
7. Scan the media marketplace to keep up to date on the latest media trends
8. Monitor all campaigns, and report on results
9. Create and manage the organization's social media profile and presence
10. Promote additional projects to support new product launches
11. Build long-term relationships with media houses
13. Manage the organization's media budget
