Profile Introduction: Insurance Payment Posting: All payers either send an EOB (explanation of benefits) or ERA (electronic remittance advice) towards the payment of a claim. The medical billing staff posts these payments immediately into the respective patient accounts, against that particular claim to reconcile them.  

Eligibility

1.       Basic data entry and/or word processing skills 

2.       Knowledge of medical insurance claims procedures and documentation 

3.       Strong knowledge into Demo, Charge and payments 

4.       Knowledge of medical billing procedures.  

Salary Range - 3,05,000 - 4,05,000 PA 

Job Description : 

1.        Processes billing to patients and third-party reimbursement claims maintain supporting documentation files and current patient addresses

2.        Responsible for filing the processed documents in a neat and orderly manner

3.        Responsible to keep track of all unprocessed items and persistently follows all unprocessed items until subsequent processing

4.        Processes patient statements, keys data, post transactions, and verifies the accuracy of input to reports generate 

5.       Responsible for getting the claims processed in compliance to the billing rules mentioned and should be accountable for any denied claims due to the entry error.
