Job Description

Medical Officer/1

Qualification: M.B.B.S. Degree from Institute recognized by MCI OR equivalent degree as per MCI.  Foreign degree equivalent to M.B.B.S as per MCI rules will be accepted only after passing the screening test conducted by National Board of Examination.

Internship: The Candidate must have completed compulsory rotatory internship as per MCI rules.

Registration: Candidate should be registered with MCI or GMC or applied on the day of Interview. Those candidate who have applied for registration will have to submit registration certificate within one month of joining.
 
Experience: 6 months experience as Medical Officer in any Cardiac Hospital or Cardiac Division of Multi- Super Specialty Hospital / Multi Specialty Hospital will be preferred.

Consolidated Remuneration: Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 60,000 /- per month. Upto 10% yearly increment on consolidated remuneration will be based on working performance and other criteria decided by the institute.

The U N Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre (UNMICRC) is a grant-in-aid autonomous institute promoted by the Government of Gujarat as a public trust . The Institute is affiliated to the BJ Medical College- Medicity, Civil Hospital Campus, Asarwa, Ahmedabad, which is a Government Medical College.

In UNMICRC, emergency related tertiary care cardiac treatment is rendered to all classes of cardiac patients particularly the poorest of poor cardiac patients.

The Institute is a teaching, research, academic and unique charitable institution which runs various patient benevolent free cardiac treatment schemes. The Institute has also been entrusted by the Government of Gujarat to run all the free cardiac treatment schemes.
