Senior Research Fellow

Project :  DST -SERB funded project entitled 'Detection and characterization of resistance to NSSA inhibitors in hepatitis C infected patients using Pyrosequencing and in silico analysis'

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  : Masters in Life sciences as a part of regular course with 2 year research experience after obtaining essential qualification. The candidate should have had 60% aggregate marks in the post graduation course.

Desirable : Preference will be given to candidates with CSIR UGC NET, GATE, DBT BET, ICMR JRF and research experience in Bioinformatics, virology and Medical Microbiology.

Remuneration: As per DST-SERB rule

Upper Age Limit : 32 years

Junior Research Fellow

Project :  DBT twinning project entitled 'Molecular epidemiology of Hepatitis B &. C among intravenous drug users (IVDUs) in Northeast and Northwest region of India'

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  Masters in Life sciences as a part of regular course. The candidate should have had 60% aggregate marks in the post-graduation course. The candidate should be willing to stay and work in North East India since this is a collaborative project.

Desirable : Preference will be given to candidates with CSIR UGC NET, GATE, DBT BET, ICMR JRF qualification. The candidate should be able to draw venous blood samples from patients.

Upper Age Limit :  28 years (Age relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Women candidate as per rules) as on 04.11.2019

Medical Social Worker (MSW)

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  Post-Graduation degree (MA/MSW) in Anthropology/Sociology/ Psychology/ Social work/medical social work as a part of regular course from recognized university, with 60% aggregate marks.

Desirable : Minimum 1 years experience in community work in High risk groups/ Health Research. Knowledge of computer application (MS-Office/Data management).

Remuneration: Rs. 32000/- per month (consolidated)

Upper Age Limit :  30 years (Age relax able in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH/ Women candidate as per rules) as on 04.11.2019
