Duties, Roles & Responsibilities:

• Listen to the recorded dictation of medical professionals/ doctors
  
• Transcribe the dictations into the test results, documents, referral letters etc.
  
• Review transcribed documents to make sure that transcription is correct and complete 
•  Identify missing information, errors within a report that can affect patient care
•  Translate medical abbreviations into appropriate forms
•  Legal documentation requirements along with following patient confidentiality guidelines
