The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
dentifies discrepancies in results.
Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program
5+ years of experience with an architectural/engineering firm providing mechanical/plumbing drafting services, including 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) for commercial and institutional facilities
AutoCAD, REVIT experience
Proficient in the use of computers for developing engineering drawings
Prior experience completing primary design elements in preparing Mechanical HVAC tasks and Construction Documents

Preferred Qualifications:

EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) registration
Experience with BIM (Revit or AECOsim) software
Secret or Top Secret DoD clearance
Working knowledge of Mechanical systems analysis tools (TRANE Trace or Equivalent Load Program, Various Selection Programs, Etc.)
Direct experience in Department of Defense, Health Care, and Government facilities
Experience working on projects that were executed using REVIT or a similar 3D BIM Product
