Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Meeting with suppliers and managing the distribution of stock, by negotiating cost prices, ordering stock, agreeing on timescales and delivery dates, and completing the necessary paperwork
2. Identifying production and supply difficulties and dealing with any problems or delays as they arise
3. Building a vendor base on the best possible commercial terms and making sure to strengthen and build top performers and drop non-performers
