The Junior Certificate & Messaging Engineer position will assist in supporting the Duff & Phelps PKI & email environment for staff around the world. The successful candidate will participate in maintenance of certificates for our 3^rd party PKI and implementation of all aspects of Microsoft Exchange and Exchange related technologies throughout the firm.

Responsibilities: 

• Monitor all expiry notifications from ServiceNow and the CA Vendor to ensure no issues result from certificate expiration
• Interact directly with CA vendor/s and IT customers for troubleshooting of certificate and key related issues
• Update and maintain process guides for requesting and distributing certificates to various applications teams
• Assist with management and maintenance of Microsoft Exchange in a hybrid on prem\cloud environment
• Troubleshooting\resolution of Exchange issues as they come up
• Assisting in engineering mail connectivity solutions
• Assisting in integrations with third party Exchange related software
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite of products
• Basic knowledge of various other IT practices including Active Directory, networking, and servers

Qualifications:

• Certification and experience in IT operational standards
• Needs to be self-motivated and willing to learn details of Certificate management processes and tools
• Ability to effectively analyze Certificate Service Requests to ensure compliance with Standards and reduce certificate duplication
• Experience in helping create new encryption enterprise solutions for current or upcoming IT Projects
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Sound understanding of Microsoft Exchange in an enterprise environment
• 2+ years experience working with Security
• 2-4 years experience supporting an Exchange environment

• Ability and willingness to work in a 24*7*365 environment
• Candidate must have general knowledge regarding cryptographic methodologies and processes within IT organizations
• Excellent communication skills
• Exchange system engineering experience
• Understanding of PowerShell in a hybrid Exchange environment
• Experience with MDM solutions
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience using a helpdesk or IT incident management software
