MI Data Analyst
This role is within the management information and reporting team, which is responsible for delivering a service across market operations and IBMO functions. The role is to analyse the data collected and understand the data gaps and how to overcome the same. The role also demands individual to have strong business sense along with ability to communicate findings to both business and IT to influence approach towards specific challenge or problem.
What will you be doing?

• Use strong business acumen, as well as an ability to communicate findings, and mine vast amounts of data for useful insights
• Use these insights to influence how an organisation approaches business challenges
• Use a combined knowledge of computer science and applications, modelling, statistics, analytics and maths to solve problems
• Extract data from multiple sources
• Sift and analyse data from multiple angles, looking for trends that highlight problems or opportunities
• Communicate important information and insights to business and IT leaders
• Make recommendations to adapt existing business strategies
• Ability to deal with Senior stakeholders (AVP/VP). Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of regular reports and have the ability to support internal and external customers in all MI reporting requirements
• Highly numerate with analytical problem solving ability and the ability to perform deep dive and root cause analysis when required
• Understanding of Investment Banking Operations and e2e trade life cycle. Able to map data flow with systems to help propose and implement the solution to solve business problem using data
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Knowledge and experience of usingSAP BO, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx and Investment Banking Operations
• Proven track record in the production and delivery of detail and high level business reporting to key stakeholders (responsibility not just involvement in the process)
• Degree level or appropriate industry qualifications with sufficient and relevant experience within a similar / comparable environment
• Demonstrate an indepth knowledge and understanding of data analytics to interrogate data, and produce quantities and quality management information to allow key stakeholders to make informed decisions.
• Ability to articulate the problem to different segments of stakeholders within Ops and Tech
• Participate in identifying opportunities to drive process improvements, making recommendations to implement and deliver efficiencies within the organization
• The successful candidate will have excellent command of the English language with strong written and verbal communication skills and will be able to communicate effectively across all levels and stakeholders
• Highly numerate with analytical problem solving ability and the ability to perform deep dive and root cause analysis when required.
• Ideally, familiarity with ServQual framework and/or the Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
