Udhyam learning foundation jobs - Micro venture consultant

This is a one year programme where you can join us to work on field with micro entrepreneurs,help them grow and scale,develop your own business and entrepreneurial skills while making a difference.

Why is the role important at Udhyam? Udhyam is focussed on scale and we believe our Micro Venture consultants will help us reach large number of low income micro entrepreneurs 

What is the role? You will have an opportunity to work with grassroots entrepreneurs and through your creativity and problem solving help them improve their business: You are essentially the McKinsey-for-the-MicroEntrepreneur.

What would you be doing? (You will)

• Be the face of Udhyam in your area of operation
  
• Lead efforts to acquire more low income entrepreneurs into our program
  
• Interact with our entrepreneurs on field and develop creative strategies to help your low income entrepreneurs scale and grow
  
• Mentor your micro entrepreneurs and monitor their business progress
  
• Communicate and report your insights and findings to the program manager 
  
• *80% on ground field interaction would be required*
  

Who are we looking for? (You have)

• High Interest in creating social impact
  
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Proficient with conversing in one local language or more
  
• Conversational Kannada is a mandate
  
• Problem solving orientation, critical thinking  and Open-Mindedness
  
• Grit and Perseverance to succeed and deliver results
  

What should you have done already? (You should have) :

• A graduate degree from any field (MSW,Science,BBA,BBM etc.)
