About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design & develop electric machines using software tools like motor CAD/manual calculation/Ansys Maxwell/Altair FLUX
2. Work on analysis and validation of designs with FEA calculations in both 2D and 3D and optimization with equations and FEA on thermal and mechanical modelling (multiphysics design)
3. Provide electric machine analysis, design, and optimization of IPM
4. Work on thermal analysis, simulation, and design of thermally stable electric motors
5. Characterize machine performance for basic sizing and performance estimations using analytical tools
6. Work on close cooperation with internal development teams, customers, and suppliers
7. Work on design, testing, & performance evaluation of electric motor for current and future Simple Energy vehicles
8. Work on collaboration with supply chain, vendor, and manufacturing engineers
9. Continuously evaluate new technologies and design improvements to develop the most power dense, efficient, low cost, and reliable electric motor
10. Develop EV motors along with motor controller team and provide necessary electric machine data for the controller development
11. Work on failure analysis of the development

Other requirements

1. Able to handle electrical engineering tasks focusing on the electromagnetic motor design

2. Knowledge of mechatronic level system simulation (Thermal, Airflow)

3. Able to take ownership of components from concept, design, testing, validation, and production release and support

Job offer

Additional Information

Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of Rs. 2 to 3 Lac/annum
