Job Description

Position: MS Labs - Networking Engineer
Location : ITPL, Bangalore
Duration: 1 Year +
SKILLS REQUIRED::
  • Understanding of routing protocols OSPF, RIP, BGP, multicast, MPLS (L3 VPN, L2 VPN, VPLS, preferably from a provider point of view).
  • Understanding of layer 2 protocols HDLC, PPP, spanning-tree protocolsUnderstanding of Wireless technologies and devices (CAPWAP, WLC, FlexConnect, etc.)
  • Device platforms including Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Cylades, BNT, HP etcScripting experience (shell, PERL, etc)
  • The candidate will be required to have the in-depth technical knowledge about datacetners, DMZs, Branch and Campus networks and other network technologies.
  • Good understanding of Network security technologies such as firewalls, load balancer, intrusion detection, data leakage, data monitoring etc. is required.
  • Project management/coordination (optional)Experience with network automation/orchestration tools/frameworks is preferred.
SKILLS DESIRED::
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills, customer service focus, attention to detail, and process orientation
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to distill and present information to business community in non-technical terminology
  • Business analysis skills, with the ability to forecast implications and provide consultative recommendations and solutions
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage operational lifecycle
