Project Description

We've been engaged by a large Australian financial institution to provide resources to their Murex FRTB program of work.

Joining this program you will have the benefit of working with an established client team, fully involved in the project initiation through to project implementation, not only for the Murex asset but also upstream systems, such as the managed market data service provider.

This role is great for candidates who have limited Murex MxML experience and are motivated to grow this skill.

We will also consider candidates with other Murex development experience, good technical background who want to move into MxML development.

Responsibilities

As part of the Integration stream of the FRTB implementation project you will be responsible, together with your team to deliver the different MxML interfaces required to import: Market data, Fixed income trades and static data, Interest Rate Derivative trades etc.

Skills

Must have

- Strong technical background (Java, Unix, Python)

Good understanding on XML, ideally some XSLT/XPath

Some experience in Murex development (can be outside of MxML) with willingness and strong motivation to learn MxML.

Advanced SQL

General financial market understanding

Nice to have

- Murex MxML experience

Murex TDS module

Basic pretrade

DevOps experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc)

Technical solution design experience and start-to-end solution ownership

Knowledge on at least one of these financial asset classes: IRD/FI/CRD/MM

Languages

English: A2 Elementary
