Job Description

National Digital Media Coordinator
POSITION(S) VACANT: National Digital Media Coordinator, New Delhi/ Bengaluru
JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES :
The National Digital Media Coordinator shall be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the design and implementation of creative communication campaigns that can engage, educate and mobilise youth in the age group of 15-29 years. S/he shall work to build a youth-centric, communications driven movement of progressive voices across the country.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and spearhead the Organizational Digital Strategy for Yuva Shakti
  • Conceptualize and roll out innovative campaigns that capture the mind of a target demographic, ensuring long-term engagement
  • Use insights from multiple data points comprising qualitative and quantitative surveys/ market research, AI driven social-listening and data-gathering of chatter and sentiment, to validate what kind of communication works and what messaging needs to be tested, focusing on target demographics; Develop communication strategies accordingly
  • Design and institute tests for gathering data to assess how best to frame particular messages for target audiences, using digital tracking to analyse the reaction of target audiences to communication content, and effecting course corrections, as necessary
  • Support and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including on-ground teams, content creation teams and other external vendors, to get the job done
  • Deploy digital communications to identify appropriate channels to reach the target audience and develop relevant content for these channels;
  • Grow Yuva Shakti's social media footprint.
  • QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND :
    • Applicants must have a Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Journalism, Mass Media, or related field.
    • Graduates with exceptional relevant experience, may also apply.
    Experience
    • Applicants must have at least five years of experience in the digital space;
    • Good experience in using social media tools and analytics;
    • Experience in market research, database management and content generation, is highly desirable;
    • Experience with data visualization tools like tableau, is desirable.
    Skills And Competencies
    • Excellent communication skills, both written as well as oral
    • Ability to work with high impact offline teams
    • Ability to convert complex data into simple, easy to understand messages
    • Ability to understand behavioural science, consumer psychology
    • Ability to deal well with ambiguity, uncertainty and change
    • Should have a creative mind
    • Updated knowledge of current trends in the digital field
    • Sensitivity to the cause of the organization
    • Demonstrable ability to take initiative
    • Ability to rapidly pivot, drop what is not working and double-down on what is working, based on testing and data.
  • COMPENSATION OFFERED :
    Gross compensation budgeted for the position is Rs. 12 to 13 lacs per annum. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience and salary history.
  • LOCATION: New Delhi or Bengaluru.
