Our business is looking for a talented and qualified Retail Sales Manager to join our team to contribute to our company’s sales objectives. Your responsibilities include supervising the sales team and building long-term client relationships. Our Ayurveda and Medicinal products need one with experience in the same field.
As a National Retail sales manager, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position.
Ultimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with large, distributed customers.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
- Manage and Supervise state team of over 100 members.
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
- Liaise with the Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
- Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on boar
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Prior work experience of 10-15 Years is required in managing retail countrywide specifically in Ayurveda and Medicinal Products.
- Should have prior experience in handling geographically distributed large teams
- Strong organisational skills together with the ability to multi-task are essential.
- Strong Knowledge of Retail and Sales of products across the country
- Should have handled Countrywide operations.
- You must be able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of sales management, customer service attitude, negotiation skills, team management skills, analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude and strong communication
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, together with strong interpersonal skills are essential.
- You must be able to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
