Network Engineer

Being the SPOC for process-related issues and changes
Efficiently utilization of all available resources in the NOC team (people, systems, knowledge).

Requirements
Hands-on experience in Network technologies, troubleshooting, infrastructure management, configuration management and continuous integration implementing and administrating network devices, setting and maintaining policies and rights/security within a complex ISP environment.
Firewalls (Juniper JunOS (SRX) ).
Switches (Cisco Catalyst 6500, 4500, Juniper EX)
Routers (Cisco L3 Switches, Juniper MX) Multi-instance Experience Required.
Advanced knowledge of L2 (MPLS, STP, LLDP),L3 (OSPF, BGP, VRF/RI, etc.) LAN technologies
A thorough understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking
A practical level of experience implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
Knowledge in QOS, policy-based routing, route maps, filter IPsec, L2 & L3 VPN list.
Expertise on IPsec, L2 & L3 VPN, circuits and various WAN technology.
Working knowledge of common network monitoring (PRTG, MRTG Knowledge) and security utilities.
Troubleshooting focused on determining hardware vs. software, hardware vs. firmware, software vs. operating system, network vs. application/systems, and patterned vs. non-repeatable problems
Past experience on working on EOC and or FTTX is preferred.
