Your Role and Responsibilities
As Network Engineer you will demonstrate expertise in architecture, engineering, and hands-on execution of VMware NSX with understanding of security standards and concepts

Cross vCenter NSX-V and NSX-T design and deployment
Migration from NSX-V to NSX-T architecture
Security policy design
NSX Routing design and sizing guidance
Firewall security policy migration (physical FWs to NSX)
Migrate Legacy FW standard and ecosystem rulesets for communication into NSX rules
Design additional network tenants based on requirements
Define cloud zones and Integrate with existing tools and ecosystems
Adjust the NSX overlay design (VxLAN objects) to take into consideration the cloud zone schema
NSX rule structure derivation and filtering performance
Assess micro-segmentation design impact on the ruleset size
Define policy structure in order to optimize filtering performance
Evaluate ruleset size impact on NSX performance
NSX micro-segmentation/ application level ring-fencing (desired state)
Identify the required attributes for building micro-segmentation policies
Derive security tags / security groups to allow application level segmentation

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Minimum 5+ years of experience in development of complex solution statements
Cross vCenter NSX-V and NSX-T design and deployment & long distance vMotion
Working experience with VMware vRealize 7, 8; vSphere 5,6; VMware vCenter 5,6
Migration to NSX-T
Solid understanding of integration of infrastructure virtualization solutions with other platform technologies (i.e. Storage, Server, Network, Active Directory, Database other operating systems)
Experience on Routing & Switching,Security Firewall(DFW,Fortigate)
Ability to conduct research into server, storage, virtualization issues, standards, and products.

Proven written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficient in organizational concepts, statement of works, workbooks, requirements, development specifications
Expertise in organizational skills with attention to task details, documentation and target dates.
Team orientated, willing to share knowledge and collaborate with peers.
Proven analytical, strategic vision drawing on strong problem-solving abilities.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

VCP-DCV/NV
CCNP, CCIE
