Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ø Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or related technology driven degree.
Ø Demonstrate strong interpersonal communications, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
Ø Minimum of 5+ years as Network Engineer or related jobs.
Ø Previous experience working as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team completing full project life-cycle implementations.
Ø Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills required.
Ø Demonstrate an ability to influence and guide team members when required.
Ø Exposure to Industrial Control Systems including PLC, HMI/SCADA, plant historian, pump control, LAN, Wi-fi, etc… for a variety of technologies and applications. (Rockwell, Siemens, B&R, or comparable platforms).
Ø Understanding and familiarity of various standards NERC, PERA, ISA, ANSI, NEMA, NEC and NIST relating to network infrastructures and security related topics.
Ø Understands the basics of TCP networking (DNS/Routing/Firewalls/NAT/
Ø Understands the basics of cellular networks and IoT networks
Ø Understands the basics of networking protocols (NTP/HTTP/HTTPS/AMQPS/FTP/
Ø Comfortable with setup and testing of various IoT hardware (Gateways, end nodes, controllers, etc.).
Ø Advanced computer skills on MS Office.
