Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP
2. Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
3. Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
4. Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications.
5. Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
6. Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
7. Investigating faults in the network, Arranging scheduled upgrades, Replacing or repairing faulty network hardware components when required, and Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
8. Designing Enterprise Networks at Core, Access, and Distribution Layers from Level 1-4
Requirements:
1. Capability of Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server: Installing, Configuring, and Administration
2. Capability of Configuring and Administering Hyper-V in Windows Server
3. Capability of Implementing, Troubleshooting, and Maintaining Cisco IP Networks
4. Capability of Installation, Configuration, and Management of VMware vSphere
Skill(s) required

Other requirements
1. Experience in IP networking in a production environment.
2. Experience in network routing protocol design and troubleshooting.
3. Experience with network equipment providers (Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Nokia, etc.).
4. Satisfactory CompTIA Network+ Certification or CCNA Routing & Switching Certification
5. Knowledge of IPV6
