NETWORK PATCHING ENGINEER 2.Job summary Support below activities across vendors such as Cisco,Arista,Avaya,Dell,InfoBlock,F5,Palo Alto • Work with customer and OEM vendors in identifying the recommended code version for upgrade. • Validate hardware compatibility for applying the planned code upgrade • Prepare step by step guide/runbook for patch upgrade with a backup plan. • CR creation, coordination, approvals • Coordination of patch management process and interaction with various stakeholder groups • Perform patch upgrades. • Monito 3.Experience 5to8yrs 4.Required Skills Technical Skills- ,Switching Domain Skills- ,Provider 5.Nice to have skills Technical Skills- ,Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls, Switching & Routing Arista Domain Skills- 6.Technology Multi_ Cloud PG 7.Shift Rotational 8.Roles & Responsibilities Primary Skill: Switching, Switching and Routing – Cisco Secondary Skills: Infoblox, F5, Palo Alto , Arista , Avaya Support below activities across vendors such as Cisco,Arista,Avaya,Dell,InfoBlock,F5,Palo Alto • Work with customer and OEM vendors in identifying the recommended code version for upgrade. • Validate hardware compatibility for applying the planned code upgrade • Prepare step by step guide/runbook for patch upgrade with a backup plan. • CR creation, coordination, approvals • Coordination of patch management process and interaction with various stakeholder groups • Perform patch upgrades. • Monitoring patch deployments • Device configuration backup and restoration. • Post upgrade checks to validate if device is running on the code version applied, check the network connect and Rollback to the existing code version in case of any issues.
