Responsibilities and Tasks
- Provide application support for the worldwide Micron enterprise.
- Serve as an expert in cloud migration, WAN optimization, networking and application performance, and/or applications delivery, utilizing Riverbed’s complete Application Performance portfolio.
- Provide specialized planning and design expertise in network configuration and analysis, application performance troubleshooting and/or optimization.
- Analyze and understand customer’s IT organization, requirements and processes, and use this knowledge to assist in achieving full adoption and utilization of Client’s solutions to maximize ROI and business value.
- Present and articulate advanced product features, benefits, and overall product solutions.
- Work directly with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Extensive knowledge of packet analysis.
- Deep knowledge of OSI, TCP/IP Stack, window scaling, windowing and other TCP concepts.
- Extensive knowledge of application performance and Wan optimization tools.
- Hands-on experience of Wireshark/tcpdump/iperf for packet analysis.
- Candidate should be the individual contributor to handle application performance related issues.
- Manage and maintain the existing environment.
- Integrate and support new technology that requires network transport.
- Respond appropriately to alarms, alerts, and notifications for the environment from the management system.
- Maintain the information in the management system.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding updates to equipment and the equipment lifecycle.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and business units for upgrades of services and application performance.
- Optimize performance of existing and new equipment.
- Configure and operate equipment that is supported.
- Document processes and procedures.
