Your Role and Responsibilities
As Network Support Engineer, you will be responsible for configuration and execution of network changes on internal and customer facing network (routing and switching) infrastructure and application (firewall and load balancer) devices.
- Configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls (Palo Alto or Vyatta or Juniper SRX or Cisco ASA) and load balancers (Citrix NetScaler or F5 or Cisco ACE preferred)
- Configuration of GRE, IPSec, OSPF, EIGRP & BGP
- Installation of routing and switching technologies, 802.1q, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLAN, MPLS, VRF.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.
- Experience in firewall management, preferably with Palo Alto or Vyatta running multi-context
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP packet analysis, using Wireshark or raw packet captures using tcp dump.
- Organizing skills to do multitasking while working on varied technical assignment
- Vendor certification (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCI etc.) is desirable
- Proven Knowledge on LAN, MPLS, VPN and support experience
- Proven conceptual & hands on experience in providing L3 level support on below products:- Firewall (Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Brocade Vyatta) Routers (Cisco 800, 1000, 1800, 2600, 2800, 2900, 3800, 3900, 7200) Switches (Cisco 29xx, 3xxx, 4xxx and 65xx series Catalyst switches)
- Cisco Nexus Switches (7000, 5000 and 2000 Series)
- Load Balancer (Citrix NetScaler OR BIG IP F5)
- Advance skills in Isolating & troubleshooting the issue. And excellent documenting skill on writing the RCA thereafter.
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
- Preferable to have CCNA or any other Network certification.
- Scripting or Automation knowledge is desirable

- Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
