Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad) invites application for the position Network/ System Administrator

Education Qualification: Completed B.Tech/ B.E/ MCA in CS/IT/ EE/ ECE streams or MSc Computers/ BSc Computers/ MSc IT with at least 60% marks (6.5 CGPA) in aggregate

Experience: Minimum of one-year hands-on working experience in network/ system administration

Desirable:

i. Installing and configuring computer networks and systems. Identifying and solving any problems that arise with computer networks and systems Consulting with clients to specify system requirements and design solutions

ii. Budgeting for equipment and assembly costs Assembling new systems Maintaining existing software and hardware and upgrading any that have become obsolete

iii. Monitoring computer networks and systems to identify how performance can be improved Provide technical oversight of a multi-site enterpriselevel WAN, including planning, implementation/expansion, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

iv. Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts. Design, deploy and administer the wireless infrastructure and supporting systems. Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.

Salary: Consolidated pay Rs. 25,000/pm to Rs. 45,000/pm (based on qualification & experience)
