Job Description

NEXUS 7K 5K BGP OSPF 5+ YEARS BANGALORE

Job Description :
  

  • Experience with at least 3 product lines like Catalyst 6500/4500/6800, Cat3560, Catalyst Stackables (38xx, 2960),
  • Catalyst 92xx, Nexus 7K/3K Engineer must be experienced in and have internal product and/or Architecture
  • knowledge.
  • Experience with at least one - Nexus 7K/5K/2K product lines will be an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge and experience BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, QoS, Multicast is a definite plus.
  • Experience Implementing /Supporting Layer 2, Layer 3 implementations will be key.
  • Hands-on experience in Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting and or Network Solution designing of Cisco
  • Routers and switches.
  • Executing Migration windows and migration projects will be a plus.
  • Must have hands-on experience of 5-7 years on Cisco CSCO products.
  • Knowledge with at least one competitor platform - Nortel, Juniper, ALU a plus.
  • Knowledge of Virtualization (VMware, Openstack, Tail-f) technologies is desirable.
  • Cisco certifications (CCIP, CCIE etc.) would be highly desirable.
  • Strong hands-on experience in scripting with Tcl/Expect, Python Java and Perl is desirable.
  • A good communications skill is a must. Must have a demonstrated ability to relate to customer representatives at
  • various levels.
  • Must have good technical writing skills and have experience in writing test and implementation / Migration plans.
  • Skills and experience in working independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork neede
