Job Description

Notification Campaign - Sports and News (Cricket)

MUMBAI / BANGALORE

USER GROWTH – CONTENTFULL TIME

  • Drive frequency, engagement & concurrency for the platform with right targeting & effective communication.
  • Understand business priorities, user cohorts and what clicks with the Sports and News audiences on Hotstar
  • Own the push notification channel for all sports, news and content on Hotstar
  • Write copy for notifications for all major news and sports events on the go
  • Has the ability of identifying the right high points during live games and breaking news events which scale viewership.
  • Create monthly/quarterly communication calendar in collaboration with sports and content teams to maximize engagement.
  • Experience
  • Excellent command over English and Hindi with strong and crisp writing skills.
  • Creative copy writing skills in short formats. 

  1. 3+ years of copy writing experience for major sports like Cricket, Badminton, Hockey & Tennis more in digital or traditional media organizations. Cricket awareness is must.
  2. Excellent command over English and Hindi with strong and crisp writing skills
  3. Creative copy writing skills in short formats.
  4. Experience with notifications tools like CleverTap is a plus.
  5. Live commentary experience or Advertising copy writing experience is desirable but not mandatory.
