Job Description

Requirements:

Proven experience as operating room nurse (circulating and scrub)
Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
In-depth knowledge of surgical operation procedures
Outstanding organizational ability
Diploma in nursing and a valid licence
Adaptable and able to work in a multicultural team
Flexible and able to manage stress
Self-driven with a solution-oriented approach

Responsibilities:

Prepares patients for surgery and addresses their concerns
Ensures the operating room is sterile
Secures necessary supplies and instruments for surgery
Hands over medical supplies to attending surgeons during operations
Monitors patients’ physical and emotional well-being throughout the care continuum
Observes patient vital signs
Informs attending surgeon of issues and anomalies
