Job Summary And Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
The GSAM Digital Centre of Excellence (COE) team will play a key role in driving data architecture strategy and data quality governance. The team will be responsible for data maintenance on the web (gsam.com) & static client reference and preference data governace on upstream systems for institutional clients & fund investors globally. In the process of governing data throughout the data lifecycle, the team would also be responsible to identify Business Intelligence/ Low code solutions to drive change and automate these workflows in the long-term. The role will require an individual to join a team that provides support to global functions within GSAM and work closely with Business & technology to design solutions to automate data attribute flows between various systems and keep data current.
The Team Is Responsible For The Following Functions
- Web maintenance for GSAM.com including disclosures, translations, content update etc.
- Data remediation as needed in upstream systems
- Liasoning with upstream teams for ensuring data accuracy
- Build control mechanism for data cleansing and exception management
- Resolve issues and identify and implement Business Intelligence solutions related to client reference data by partnering with Business, Technology and other Operations groups
- Access provisioning to GSAM.com
- Define data attributes, owners, lineage and transformation through Data Dictionary
- Document current and future state workflow through process mapping and decision modelling for all data remediation
- Optimize client service through process rationalization
- Enhance the firm’s risk framework by analysing existing controls, evaluating their suitability, and recommending new standards
The candidate will be expected to gain thorough knowledge of the function and relevant risk management systems within first 12 months.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Explore change management solutions that leverage business intelligence, low code automation, industry utilities, and external vendor solutions
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from tier-1 or 2 institutes with exposure in Finance or Business Intelligence.
- Relevant work experience of 1-2 years
- Experience in operating model design, business analysis, business process mapping and/or business process re-engineering
